Delices and Gourmandises: Flore, what do you think about Delices and Gourmandises?

Flore: It’s my only provider for candies, delicacies and chocolates. Since I discover  Delices and Gourmandises, I did not want to go anywhere to buy sweets and pastries. Moreover, I love most of the products proposed in the catalogue. You can find delicious macaroons and assorted chocolates, but also many types of biscuits and pastries that have been made in total respect of the traditional recipes.

Delices and Gourmandises: Can you tell us in which occasion you order delicacies from Delices and Gourmandises?

Flore: I regularly order biscuits and chocolate for tea time with my family when they come to visit me, but I also make purchases for special occasions when I receive friends home.

Delices and Gourmandises: What is your favorite products?

Flore: Without hesitation I will tell you that the macaroons are my favorite. They are flavored with strawberries, lemon and pistachio nuts. I served them at dessert with ice cream. They are really a delight.

One day, I proposed macaroons with vanilla flavored crème brûlée to my children and grandchildren and since, they always ask for some when they come home. It is obvious that I gave my weakness for these refined tasted pastries of Delices and Gourmandises to them. 

 Delices and Gourmandises: now, can you tell us about your gain?

Flore: It was the first time I was invited to take part at the sweepstake organized by Delices and Gourmandises. I did not really expect to be selected, nor to be within the winners, but by chance, I was. I soon received a phone call that told me I won the LCD TV post. Thanks to this gift, I do not have to quarrel with my husband when he wants to watch his football matches with and I want to see something else.

I still want to thank the Delices and Gourmandises team for this beautiful gift, but also for the delicious products that are available on the online boutique. Furthermore, I also want to think them for the quickness of the processing of the orders.

Georges: Delices and Gourmandises is the on line boutique that helps me fulfill my greediness. Its catalogue is full a wide range of candies and sweet pastries and chocolate made with traditional recipes, as I like them. Actually, thanks to the site, I could one more time discover the great tastes that have marked my childhood: macaroons, almond nougats, madeleines, etc. Nevertheless, I appreciate the new products that are also proposed as the shortbread cookies d’Auvergne, the chocolate waffles or the Gourmandises aux fruits.

Delices and Gourmandises: and within all those products, which are your favorite?

Georges: Without hesitation I will tell you: the palets Breton. I just cannot do without them: for tea time with a hot and creamy coffee, those made with fresh butter with traditional recipes are just delicious. I also like to eat them when I’m watching TV, or after my daily jogging, for getting my strength back.

Sometimes I taste them with biscuits filled with vanilla and chocolate cream biscuits. In fact, I really like the taste of the apricot jelly that fills these pastries.

Delices and Gourmandises : Can you tell us about your price?

Georges: oh sure! As I am one of the most regular customers of Delices and Gourmandises, I had the

joy if being selected to take part at one of its quizzes. To be honest, I reaaly dream about having a new laptop computer and I crossed my finger to win one. While waiting the results of the quiz, I was between doubt and insurance. There is no use to tell you that I really was happy when I was told I won a touchpad… It was more than I expected because I think a touchpad is more practical than a real laptop computer.

Delices and Gourmandises: So René, please tell us more about how you got to know Delices and Gourmandises?

Rene: Oh, it happened quite by chance. Since my grandchildren have the internet, they are used to show me what they like or what I may be interested in when I come at their place for a visit. One day, I told them I would love to come with sweets for them the following week. While searching for reliable websites where we could choose something nice together, we found Delices and Gourmandises … and all our favorites treats. This is where it all started.

Delices and Gourmandises:  Speaking of favorites, what (s) is / are yours among all our products?

René: I've always been fond of Delices and Gourmandises liqueur chocolates and cherries with eau-de-vie totally seduced me. The chocolate that melts on the tongue, leaving the liquor flow is simply a delight for the palate, I love it! Otherwise, I also like the orangettes and their slightly bitter aftertaste. Fruit jellies are among those which I gladly share with my grandchildren, especially the youngest.

Delices and Gourmandises: How did you receive the news of your win?

René:  My children always let me do the ordering and thanks to them, I became a regular customer of Delices and Gourmandises. When I’ve been announced that I was one of those who would take part to a draw and get a chance to win TV, I did not really care because I’ve never been lucky at this kind of games. So when the eldest of my grandchildren told me with a big smile that we won a LCD TV, I laughed at him. I had to see the letter with my own eyes to believe it. We both went to pick-up the TV and the whole family now enjoys it every weekend with movies, football matches, very interesting documentaries... and of course, a candy tray within reach.
